WHERE WE ARE LOCATED
The Kennedy Theatre is located around the back of the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts. While the address is technically ” 2 E. South St.”, the entrance to the theatre is off of Salisbury St. (For GPS, use “780 S. Salisbury St. 27601)
If you are facing Memorial Auditorium, go to your RIGHT and follow the sidewalk around the back of the building. (If you go to the left you will end up at the loading dock for Memorial/Fletcher.) You will see the brick Kennedy Theatre sign on your left. The entrance to the theatre is under the portico, through the double glass doors.
There is disabled and regular parking in the the Kennedy Theatre lot as well as a gravel lot across Salisbury St. Both of these lots are FREE!
IMPORTANT: in the Kennedy Lot, DO NOT park anywhere that does not have 2 white lines on either side of your car or YOU WILL BE TOWED!!! If the two free lots are full, there is a paid parking structure at the corner of Salisbury and South as well as a paid flat lot directly across from the front entrance of Memorial Auditorium.

- Why can’t I select my seats when purchasing tickets online?
Seating in the Kennedy Theatre is General Admission. The House typically opens 30 minutes prior to the start of the show, and seating is first-come first-served.
Seating in the Fletcher Theater is ASSIGNED, and is handled by Ticketmaster systems.
Reserved seating is available for handicapped patrons, and VIP patrons. Please email <firstname.lastname@example.org> if you have questions about reserved seating.
- I purchased tickets but am unable to attend the performance I selected. Can I move my tickets to another day?
Yes! We are happy to move your tickets to another performance during the run of that show. We do not typically move tickets across different productions, but can make exceptions under certain circumstances.
TO MOVE YOUR TICKETS TO A DIFFERENT PERFORMANCE: Please contact <email@example.com> and include the following information: Your name, the date of your current tickets, the date you would like to attend instead, and your phone number. You should expect an email confirmation with a link to print out the new tickets.
- I am unable to print out my tickets via the email link. Can I pick them up at Will Call?
Yes. If you are not able to print out your tickets, please come to the Box Office and we will print them out for you.
- Can I use electronic tickets on my phone instead of printing them out?
No. Every patron must have a printed ticket to enter the theatre. If you are unable to print your tickets ahead of time, please stop by the box office before the show and we will print them out for you.
- If I purchase tickets online will you mail them to me?
No. When you purchase tickets online you should receive an email confirmation with a link to print out the e-tickets. If you are unable to print them out, please come by the box office when you arrive at the theatre and we will print them out for you.
- Can I purchase tickets over the phone?

- Do you offer a Group Discount?
Yes. Groups of 10 or more qualify for a group discount. For 2014, Group Tickets in the Kennedy are $22, and Group Tickets in the Fletcher are as follows:
Orchestra: $36 + taxes/fees = $40.57
Balcony: $28 + taxes/fees = $32.03
- What is the minimum age to receive a Senior Discount?
65 years of age.
